Britain has confirmed the dispatch of its military to Ukraine; the UK admitted the secret dispatch of paratroopers to Ukraine . . .
"The paratrooper who died in Ukraine "served as part of a small British contingent in Ukraine," Prime Minister Keir Starmer said. According to The Guardian newspaper, this was the first time that the death of a British soldier in Ukraine has been publicly acknowledged.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that at least 100 British nationals are fighting against Russia. According to him, Moscow will draw all the necessary conclusions.
The UK secretly sent its military personnel to the territory of Ukraine, which was made public only after the death of 28-year-old British paratrooper George Huley at the Ukrainian training ground, writes Press Association (PA).
"The [British] government has not previously reported the presence of paratroopers in Ukraine," said in the publication.
The Guardian newspaper drew attention to the fact that more than 40 Britons have died in Ukraine since February 2022, however, "Huly's death was the first time that the death of a British soldier has been publicly acknowledged." (the "Huly" named is shown below:)
The day before, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, during a speech in the House of Commons, said that Huli died in a "tragic accident" far from the front line, while watching a test of a "new defensive system" involving Ukrainian military personnel. The politician admitted that the paratrooper "served as part of a small British contingent in Ukraine."
The British Ministry of Defense announced the death of its soldier in Ukraine on December 9. A day later, it was made public that the deceased was Lance Corporal Huli, who served in the parachute regiment of the British army.
"Close cooperation"
London "reluctantly admits the presence of its military personnel in Ukraine, whose number is believed to not exceed 100 people," since the British authorities do not want Russia to use such information "for propaganda purposes," the newspaper stressed. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed this information.
"Now we have already been forced to admit the facts of direct participation in the war against Russia of British servicemen, special forces.
After one of them died, the British government could not hide these circumstances. It is stated that at least 100 British citizens are in the ranks of those fighting against the Russian Federation," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Moscow will draw all the necessary conclusions from "this next manifestation of the true essence of the British regime," Lavrov added.
Russian Ambassador to London Andrei Kelin, in an interview with TASS, stressed that the UK is drawn into the conflict in Ukraine, perhaps even deeper than any other NATO member country. The presence in Ukraine of not only special forces, but also military specialists involved in the launches of long-range Storm Shadow missiles has been officially confirmed, he added.
According to The Guardian, London is "working closely" with Kyiv on "the training of troops and medical personnel, as well as in the development of weapons."
What is known about the British paratrooper?
According to the Daily Mail, Huley served in the British Army's Airborne Infantry Regiment, which is based primarily at Merville Barracks in Colchester. At the same time, it is not disclosed to which battalion of the parachute regiment the deceased paratrooper was assigned. The PA noted that the 1st Battalion is under the command of Special Forces, while others are part of the British Rapid Reaction Unit.
The Sun claims that Huli served in the support group of the British Special Forces, and in Ukraine he was engaged in testing air defense systems.
The Guardian learned that Huli watched the test of British-supplied defensive equipment before his death or how Ukrainian servicemen learned to use their own equipment "before something went wrong." Other British soldiers were not injured in the incident. However, The Sun claims that at least four soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed.
Huli has served in the British Army since November 2015. He was sent on business trips to Afghanistan, Africa and Eastern Europe. In January, the paratrooper was supposed to be awarded the rank of corporal."
Hal Turner Analysis
The British finally got caught. Red handed. An active-duty British Soldier, killed in Ukraine fighting Russia. I reported on this death two full days ago (Story Here).
In case any of you haven't figured this out yet, this makes the United Kingdom a Combatant against Russia, inside Ukraine. I believe this is now a legal basis for Russia to attack the United Kingdom because the death of their active-duty soldier, proves Britain is waging war upon Russia.
For three years I have reported on the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Longer if you count my reporting which warned Russia WOULD go to war with Ukraine over its intent to join NATO.
For those three-plus years, I have feared this was going to turn into World War 3. I reported my fears. I urged all of you to get emergency food, water, medicines you need to live on. I explained that if this becomes World War 3, we would get hit HERE, inside the United States.
I was mocked. "Doom porn" they called my coverage. "Chicken Little, the sky is falling" they smeared me. "Click Bait" they said it was.
Now. Here we are. Britain has been caught, red-handed, with an active duty British soldier killed in Ukraine. It appears to me this is clear "Casus Belli" (latin: Cause for war).
How Russia chooses to handle this will determine if WW3 breaks out or not. I suspect it will.
I suspect that the Russians may decide to launch conventional attacks upon British Special Forces Bases, British Paratrooper Bases, and/or Manufacturing facilities for British "Storm Shadow" missiles.
Then, i think, Russia will stop. Nothing further. They may tell the British, "if you leave this alone, we will consider the matter closed. If you retaliate, it's all-out war."
I further suspect that if Russia does something like that, the British will screech to NATO saying "We've been attacked by Russia, we invoke Article 5, Collective Self Defense against Russia"
Whether the rest of NATO agrees remains to be seen. Other NATO members will rightly ask: Why should __we__ go to war for __you__ when you brought this attack upon yourselves by sending troops into Ukraine?
Here's the "rub" -- if NATO declares Article 5 Collective self-defense against Russia, the words of Russian President Putin at the start of this conflict will likely apply. Putin said "We know that Russia's conventional forces are not comparable to NATO. We know that. But Russia is also a nuclear power, and our capabilities are far superior to NATO. If NATO declares article 5 collective defense against Russia, it will be a war none will win."
Years earlier, in October of 2019, before the Russia-Ukraine war even began, Putin said that Russia was ready to "annihilate" any attacker who would use nuclear weapons against it, but would never strike first.
"An aggressor should know that vengeance is inevitable, that he will be annihilated, and we would be the victims of the aggression. We will go to heaven as martyrs, and they will just drop dead. They will not even have time to repent for this," he said.
Here we are . . .
