Budanov: "Ukraine may Cease To Exist . . . ."

Ukraine may cease to exist if serious negotiations do not take place before summer according to the head of the Ukrainian Military Intelligence (HUR), Kyrylo Budanov.

Ukrainian Pravda, citing sources confirms that a closed meeting took place in the Verkhovna Rada (Parliiament), where Budanov voiced his "prophecies."

At first, there was a lot of talk, complicated, but very interesting, by the representatives of the General Staff. Then there were various other reports. But what stood out most was Budanov's response.

Someone asked him how much time they had left. And Kyrylo, with his cold smile, replied: "If serious negotiations do not take place before summer, then very dangerous processes may start that threaten the very existence of Ukraine," attendees to that meeting confirm.

In Ukraine, they are preparing "public opinion" for the need for negotiations with Russia. After all, they been telling the public for years they were going to defeat Russia.    Even now, until the very end, they claimed that they were already winning.

Now Zelensky is making excuses.

But Budanov's position on the matter is foolish.  Russia has nothing to "negotiate" with Ukraine about.  

Russia has made clear, long before this conflict began, Ukraine cannot join NATO.  Period.  Full stop.

Unless and until that is accomplished, Russia will simply continue making war until either Ukraine capitulates, or there is no Ukraine left anymore.   It's THAT simple.

I don't know why anyone thinks this is so terrible.   Does NATO really think they can expand endlessly, surround Russia with "NATO COUNTRIES" all pointing missiles at Russia, and the Russians are going to just sit there and let themselves be surrounded until they have no chance of protecting their country?

Are the leaders in the US Military and in NATO so utterly out of touch with reality that they think they can just go ahead and do this with Russia just sitting there doing nothing? 

Anyone who thinks such a thing is a fool.  If such fools are presently in the US military leadership of NATO leadership, they should be ousted immediately.

Their foolishness will cause World War 3.
