Britain will not agree to give Ukraine permission for long-range strikes deep into Russia with its weapons, without the US doing the same MORE:
NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg caused cases of Whiplash by announcing today "NATO countries do not yet have a consensus on inviting Ukraine to the alliance."
Well. Well. Well. How's THAT for some serious turn-about?
Looks to me like the US and NATO finally started to realize the Russians aren't kidding, or posturing, or bluffing.
FINALLY a brief pause in the madness driving the US and EU into a war that no one wants, and that no one will win. A war we would would all LOSE.
Let's see if this brief bout of rational thinking, holds. IT MAY NOT . . . . there's already talk of allowing this after an upcoming United Nations meeting.
More as I get it . . . .
Britain will not allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles against targets in Russia without the agreement of the United States.
the UK will not “go it alone” because US guidance systems were seen as crucial to ensuring the missiles hit their targets.
(This was the precise point made by Russian President Putin last Thursday in a TV Interview. He told the interviewer, Western weapons need satellites to guide them, and Ukraine doesn't have any satellites. So those weapons would have to use US, EU, NATO satellites and if they do, THAT is direct involvement in the conflict by the US, EU, NATO. It would be an attack by NATO against Russia.)
The British government believes the US is still likely to give the green light at the UN general assembly in New York, although there are splits within President Biden’s administration.
More if I get it . . . .
