CLAIM: HAMAS Has KILLED ~1,650 Israeli Troops; Damaged or Destroyed ~750 Military Vehicles

A long and detailed message the Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, shown above in a FILE PHOTO,  recently sent to the head and members of Hamas' political bureau, details about the fighting in Gaza.

In the message, from which a Qatari-owned news site shared quotes earlier today, Sinwar claims that Hamas has "crushed the IDF"  and states that Hamas will not submit to Israel's conditions.

Sinwar's full quotes, removed from media publication in the Middle East claimed:

"The Al-Qassam Brigades are fighting a fierce, violent, and unprecedented battle against the 'Israeli' occupation forces, and the occupation army is suffering heavy losses in lives and equipment.

During the ground invasion, the Al-Qassam Brigades targeted at least 5,000 soldiers and officers, a third of whom were killed, another third seriously injured, and the last third permanently disabled.

As for military vehicles, 750 were destroyed, either completely or partially.

The Al-Qassam Brigades have crushed the 'Israeli' occupation army and will continue to do so. We will not submit to the occupation’s conditions."

According to several sources both inside Israel and elsewhere in the Middle East, the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "went berserk when the numbers came out" because the Israeli government has been concealing the facts from the public.

The sources claim "Israel began arm-twisting" to get the quotes removed, to conceal the death toll from the public."  They also claim that Israel has told several Arab countries that revelations like this are "a national security threat to Israel" because "If the public finds out how many troops have already been killed and injured, all public support will disappear."
