The Commanding Officer of U.S. Central Command, General Michael E. Kurilla, arrived in the Middle East earlier today from CENTCOM Headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
Later this week, he will travel to Tel Aviv, where he will meet with Israeli Military Officials.
They will discuss the Defense of Israel and U.S. Military Assets in the Region from further Iranian Attacks, as well as the possibility of Joint Actions or Strikes against Iran in case of Escalation.
Israel has decided to strike Iran again, blaming Iran for a Hezballah Drone which struck the private home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Hezballah allegedly launched that drone from Lebanon, but according to Israel, Iran is responsible.
Last weekend, Israel attacked Iran because the Iranians had the temerity to attack Israel back. Iran retaliated with missiles, for Israel bombing a building in Tehran, which assassinated Ismail Henniyeh.
(HT REMARK: Apparently, Israel thinks they should be allowed to bomb or assassinate, anyone they choose, anywhere they choose, and if they do it in another country, that country had better not attack back. (Immature, spoiled-brat-child thinking.))
While Iran already has the right to respond to last weekend's Israeli attack, they have not done so. As such, the Israelis are going to attack the Iranians again. Apparently, Iran's failure to attack back last weekend is viewed as weakness, which the Israelis are apparently going to exploit.
It should be noted that the last time CENTCOM General Michael E. Kurilla visited Israel, the Israelis attacked just days later. As such, Iran should realize what General Michael E. Kurilla's visit to Israel means -- again.
The big question is what is Iran going to do? Will they wait to be attacked yet again, and then respond? Will they see the writing on the wall and pre-emptively attack?
Or will they - like a person being bullied - keep hoping Israel will leave them alone if they do nothing about these attacks, and end-up have Iran look like the Gaza Strip?
The world waits to see.
