COMMS RESTORED Here in PA

Around 4:00 PM today (Thursday) some pretty fierce thunderstorms rolled through this part of northeastern Pennsylvania.  I was outside doing work around the property and when I came back in, the electric was off, all the Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS's)  were beeping.

The Cable modem was ON but had no connection, the satellite modems were ON but the cloud cover was preventing connectivity, so I was dead in the water.

I hooked up the generator to restore electricity - and thankfully the air conditioning -- (it was 93 degrees up here today) and when the cloud cover broke, I got ----- S O M E -- internet connectivity through the satellite.  Not sure why the CELLULAR failover isn't working . . . .

The connectivity I have via satellite is enough to make a posting like this, but ****NOT ENOUGH*** to stream live audio.

Sooooooo . . . . I either have to high-tail-it back to New Jersey or have my son run a repeat tonight.

Not sure which . . . .

Will try to keep you posted.

Update 8:21 PM EDT --
