Yesterday, during a War Cabinet meeting in Israel, the IDF told the Cabinet "that initiating a war with Hezbollah right now will be the best scenario for Israel."
They explained their reasoning by saying "A conflict now will take away any surprise factor from Hezbollah and Israel taking the initiative will be a big advantage in such conflict."
Put simply, the Israeli Defense Force WANTS to commence attacks against Lebanon.
