As of 2:52 PM eastern US time on Saturday, 14 October 2023, I can report the following from COVERT INTEL SOURCES:
US officials have told Israel that United States Navy ships in the eastern Mediterranean Sea "Will target missiles launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon" and also told Israel "U.S. Forces across the Middle East will Target a number of Pro-Iranian Groups in Syria and Iraq if this Escalates into a Regional Conflict." (Mission creep already)
Inside Israel, Residents in Southern and Central Israel have been told to "remain Close to Shelters tonight."
IDF Homefront Command has begun to prepare Authorities in the South and Central Area of the Country for a Massive Rocket Barrage which is expected tonight.
ANALYSIS
Based upon these developments, it appears TO ME that Israel will launch a ground offensive into Gaza tonight.
If/when that takes place, Intel circuits (COMMS) sources are screeching that a number of countries and entities will enter the fight against Israel within hours.
Intel confirms that Hezbollah in Lebanon has 130,000 missiles to use against Israel. (Clearly the US Naval ships cannot shoot down that many)
More than 800 thousand people have now left the northern Gaza Strip. However, a significant number of civilians still remain.
If Israel launches a military operation while there are hundreds of thousands of civilians in the Gaza Strip, it will lead to tragic consequences for the population.
In addition, the Israeli authorities fear the risks associated with the start of a ground operation, involving new participants in the conflict, after which the IDF will have to fight on two, and even three or four fronts.
Therefore, Israel seems to be delaying the start of the operation not to estimate the number of civilian population in Gaza, towards which the Israeli authorities have long shown indifference, but to assess the real prospects and risks of an invasion.
The Russian Foreign Ministry is now telling the world: The United States has brought the conflict in the Middle East to the point of no return.
One U.S. official said there is little discussion so far with Israeli officials about the day after. “There is no plan…If you destroy Hamas, what’s going to fill the vacuum? You destroy al Qaeda and you get ISIS. You destroy Hamas, you get Hamas 2.0.”
