Russian Intelligence Agencies this morning warned Iran "An attack by Israel and the United States is imminent."
I have ZERO input from my Intel Sources indicating anything like this. Nothing at all within my sphere of information indicates such an attack is even being planned, never mind "imminent."
I am not certain what Russian Intel thinks it uncovered, that they would tell this to Iran.
Certainly Russia has vast and incredibly effective Intel, but on this, it seems to me, they are either waaaaaay ahead of what I have access to (very likely), or they're wrong (possible).
It is also possible they are ahead and have leaked this to thwart what they know to be a pending attack. Absolute secrecy would be essential for another attack, and now that this info is out, it may serve to ruin the surprise -- ergo, cancel the attack.
Iran has made clear that if they are attacked again, they will retaliate in a massive manner, and will not accept any ceasefire until Israel is completely in ruins.
