I am pleased to report that the Donation money which came in last Saturday and Sunday HAS ARRIVED in my bank account this morning from the credit card processor.
They had put a "Hold" on all funds because of a "Surge" on Sunday, during which more than two hundred donations came in totaling about $12,595. This, they said, was an unexpected "surge" in my typical funding and they had to review the account to determine these donations were "low risk."
I worked with them On September 1 and 2 and thankfully, they released the "Hold" and transmitted the funds as normal.
The fact that Monday was a bank holiday (Labor Day) delayed arrival of the funds until this morning, but the funds did arrive.
Radio stations WBCQ, WRMI, and KYAH are paid in full for September. Amazon Web Services is also paid for August, for the data transfer and hosting charges of this web site.
I revealed on the air last Friday that I had a "stash" of excess funds that had come in during prior months, that I kept "on-the-side" in case something unusual took place. That turned out to be a wise move when this situation cropped-up. Now, I can put the money back into that reserve for another rainy day.
So, credit card processing is restored and everything is back to normal.
