European Union leaders are gathering in Brussels Thursday for the latest emergency summit called to bolster security for Ukraine amid questions about U.S. support for the country and their own security.
The talks will likely agree on ways to quickly increase military budgets after the Trump administration signaled that Europe must take care of its own security and also suspended assistance to Ukraine.
The goals are how to arm Europe and figure out how to arm Ukraine, so they are strong enough for peace negotiations! They do not want to go into peace talks while they’re weak.
To many observers of the Russia-Ukraine Conflict, this means, in short: “Fight to the last Ukrainian.”
