In the last few hours, tremors have come out to sea just SW of Grindavík. If eruption takes place at sea, it will be explosive.
The patrol ship Þór, arrived at Grindavík, but has now been asked to stay away for safety.

The last time a volcano (Mount Eyjafjallajökull) erupted in Iceland, flights to and from the US to the UK were cancelled for nearly 3 weeks if i remember correctly!
