Friday Morning: All Quiet on the Hacking Front

We are now 24 hours+ into the "window" for computer hackers, who announced they would crash world computer networks, to do their thing. So far, all quiet.

Yes, there have been reports of cyber attacks here and there, but no big deal . . . so far.

RUMORS this morning of bank outages in Europe (Norway & UK) do not seem valid.  The banks, at least as of 8:00 AM EDT, seem fine.

I checked __my__ bank this morning and a significant sized money transfer arrived as scheduled.  All good there.

I had taken some cash out of an ATM yesterday amid rumors of bank hacking attacks.  The cash is sitting right here and if nothing happens, it goes back in the bank next week.  But so far, all quiet.

Of course, all this can change like a bolt of lightning out of the blue, but so far, so good.

I don't like all the upheaval that's been going on for the past couple years.  I definitely don't like having to report - over and over and over again - reports of this, or  that.  Threats of this, or that.

I want my life to be normal.  I want peace and quiet.  I want to know that my family is safe and healthy, my home is safe, my money in the bank is safe, my world is OK.  I WANT a "normal" life!

Lately it seems, life has been anything BUT normal.

Constant stress over reports of this or that.  Constant aggravation of people doing this or that.

Anyway, I'm on the wall watching to alert you if something wicked this way comes.

It's what I do!

Carry on.
