Germany Ultimatum to Russia: "Moscow, you have now five hours"

At about 12:00 Noon, eastern US time, Germany sent an "ultimatum" to Russia: "Moscow, you have now five hours."

Presumably they mean to accept and begin an unconditional 30-day ceasefire with Ukraine.

The Russians were not impressed.  In fact, the Russians replied they are "offended and reject it."

Apparently, the Germans have forgotten the lesson taught to them some 80 years ago, when the Red Army stormed Berlin.

What's the saying? "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it?:
