France's new Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu and his government resigned, hours after Lecornu announced his cabinet line-up, making it the shortest-lived in modern French history, driving stocks and the euro sharply lower.
Lecornu submitted his resignation and President Emmanuel Macron accepted the resignation of the head of government.
The French CAC40 Stock Market index is down 2%. Bond yields are rising.
Lecornu was in office as head of government for only 27 days. His term became the shortest in the history of France.
Meanwhile Macron is busy with his obsession with Russia and Putin, while his own country is falling apart.
