He is Risen! Happy Easter

On this day, we Christians celebrate the Resurrection from the dead of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

This is the calendar year 2025, and for about two-thousand twenty-five years, the world has been told the history of Jesus.  That, in and of itself, is an amazing thing.

Think about this for a moment:

We live in a world of instantaneous, global, communications.

We have newspapers, magazines, television, radio, satellite communications, telephone, Facsimile, Internet and email. 

NONE of those things exited 2025 years ago.  NOT ONE OF THEM existed.

Yet here we are, 2025 or so years later, and the overwhelming majority of this world knows the history of Jesus of Nazareth.

Given the fact that the average, typical, adult human living today, only remembers what he reads, hears about, or sees on TV for three days to a week, how can it be explained that 2025 or so years after Jesus walked this Earth, the overwhelming majority of this world knows the history of Jesus?

I say, only Almighty God Himself could have pulled THAT off!

So . . .  I believe.   

I confess with my mouth - and with my written word - that Almighty God begot one son and that son is Jesus (Y'Shua).

I believe Jesus was born, of a Virgin, Mary.   

I believe He grew to manhood, performed miracles as recorded in the history book called "The Bible." (It's not a "religious" book, it's a history book.  The history of the PEOPLE "Israel" -- the twelve tribes of the House of Jacob; Israel. TWELVE tribes, NOT JUST JUDAH.)

"Israel" is a PEOPLE; not lines on a map drawn by men.

I believe Jesus was Crucified under Pontius Pilot.   I believe he suffered, died, and was buried.

I believe that on the third day, God raised Jesus from the dead.

I believe He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

I believe He will come again, in glory, to judge the living and the dead.

I believe His kingdom will have no end.

I confess with my mouth and with my written word: He is Risen. Jesus is Lord.  He is the way, the truth, and the light.

I repent my sins and Pray that Jesus come into my life, teach me, guide me, get to know me, and allow me to get to know Him.

I pray that when this life I was given, ends, that Jesus will tell His Father, I know this man.

I reject Satan/Lucifer/the Devil, and all his works.

I pray that my sins be forgiven.

When I pray, I pray FIRST to Almighty God, whom I am taught has been called YHVH, (i.e. Yehovah), YAHWEH, and I AM THAT I AM.   

The reason I pray FIRST to Almighty God is because the first Commandment instructs us "I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt have no other Gods before me."  Since the Ten Commandments are just that: COMMANDMENTS, I do what I'm told.  I worship Almighty God, first.

I pray SECOND to Jesus.  

Jesus, thank you for the sacrifice you made, so that pathetic, degenerate, reprobate, repeat sinners LIKE ME, might have a chance at redemption.
