The Pearl-Clutchers of the Stock Markets had their mini-meltdown today because of remarks from the China Foreign Ministry:
Chinese Foreign Ministry Office in Hong Kong: “We must solemnly tell the US that a tariff-wielding barbarian who attempts to force countries to call and beg for mercy can never expect that call from China.”
The call is not coming.

This, from the government that used tanks to run-over and crush peaceful protesters in Tiananmen Square?
This, from the government that is so insecure in its Communist Ideology, it cannot withstand even the existence of a tiny island of freedom called Taiwan 90 miles off its shores?
In my view, the U.S knows who the _actual_ Barbarians are; I recommend that China's Foreign Ministry look in a mirror when they use the word "Barbarian."
