Democrats including Greg Meeks, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and Ritchie Torres just rolled out a new Bill they call the Ukraine Support Act — a bill packed with military aid, reconstruction funds, and major sanctions on Russia.
It comes as Trump works to negotiate a peace deal, but Democrats want to make sure Ukraine still gets strong backing from Congress during the talks.
The bill pushes support for NATO, adds security loans for Kyiv, and cracks down hard on Russia’s energy and banking sectors.
Peace talks or not, the Democrats want to make sure the checkbook stays open.
