A commercial oil tanker ship named VIRAT on the Black Sea, radioed for help Friday, saying it was under attack by Drones. The ship is on fire and reportedly sinking.
The vessel is listed on a Ukrainian website as ALLEGEDLY being part of Russia's "shadow fleet" of oil tankers used by Russia to evade economic sanctions.
A SECOND tanker, also on the Black Sea, reportedly struck a mine and it, too, is reportedly sinking off the coast of Turkey.
Both are civilian vessels.
Rescue crews have safely evacuated crews from both vessels which continue to burn and/or sink.
