Right now, there are FOUR (4) air refueling tanker aircraft up over the Mediterranean Sea.
That's a lot of aviation fuel, presumably for a lot of planes.

Two tankers north of Egypt turned off their transponders.
Third tanker Northeast of Crete still squawking.
There are also now EIGHT (8) C-17 aircraft making a major airlift into the Middle East.
Whatever is going on, it appears it's going to be sudden and very big.
One former colleague I spoke with this morning told me "By this time tomorrow, the world will be a very different place." He did not specify what he meant.
