Intel: Significant Activity at Iran Long-Range Missile Sites; Retaliation Against Israel Coming

Several intelligence sources are confirming "significant activity" at Iran long-range missile sites in the west and north of the country. Retaliation against Israel for bombing an Embassy in Damascus, is pending.

Yesterday, Israel violated the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations when it bombed a building in Damascus, Syria, directly next to the Iran Embassy!  It was the Ambassador's Official residence situated ON the Embassy compound; Iran sovereign territory!

Several high-ranking Iranian officials were killed in the attack, including Mohammad Reza Zahedi - a commander in the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards.  He is the highest-ranking Iranian official killed in an Israeli attack.

If Iran plans retaliation, it's likely to occur tonight, as it marks the 23rd night of Ramadan, a significant occasion for Shia Muslims.  Tonight, however, may prove too soon.

Should retaliation not occur tonight, it may coincide with a funeral, a common time for Iranian retaliation.

Expectations are high regarding Iran's response this time. Iran's Parliament Vice-Speaker Mojtaba Zonnouri cautioned Israel to anticipate retaliation within its borders, stressing that diplomatic missions are considered part of sovereign territory.

Iran's Supreme Leader, Khamenei, has signaled direct retaliation by Iranians themselves, bypassing proxies.  Khamenei said "Israel will face consequences for its attack on the Iranian consulate," adding "We will make them regret committing this crime."

In a letter to the Security Council late Monday, Iran said it would take a “decisive response” to the Israeli attack but in line with international laws.  So Iran has already filed Notice to the UN there __will__ be a military response.

The Israeli Defense Force, after making the attack, was placed on high alert.

The U.S. military has started recalling veteran retirees and is ordering them to report for active duty, citing Executive Order 13223 from the Bush administration in 2001.

This order allows for the recall of retired Soldiers to active duty from the Retired Reserve or the retired list under 10 USC 688/688a, 12301(a), or 12301(d).

The recall is part of an effort to address the military's manpower shortages and to fill critical vacancies. The recall process aligns with Army Regulation 601-10, which requires that recalled retiree Soldiers be assigned to valid vacant positions that match their grade and skill.

This initiative is a response to the military's ongoing recruitment crisis and the need to maintain a sufficient number of personnel to fulfill its global mission sets.

Clearly, a major conflict is about to start.

Iran has developed numerous and sophisticated missiles for its military use; more than capable of not only reaching __any__ target inside Israel, but doing so with great precision.   Here's a look at Iranian Missile systems and their ranges:

When some of these missiles start coming down onto Israel, it is likely to unleash things that no one expects.

According to a source within the US Embassy in Israel, a message was received at the White House from Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abd Allahian.

In the message, Iran warns the US against interfering in Iran's response to Israel following the bombing of the Iranian Embassy compound in Syria.
