Iran Parliament To Vote on LEAVING Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

Tomorrow, the Iranian Parliament will vote on leaving the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) of Nuclear Weapons.

Because it is considered an urgent session, the Guardian Council will be present in the assembly to approve the bill on the spot in case it passes.

To pass, the bill must get a majority of the votes, and it is not yet certain whether it will pass — because leaving the NPT has many consequences, and some parliament members still argue against it.
