UPDATED 11:02 AM EST -- Israel Cease-Fire Offer to Hamas is just a Ruse; to go after Hezbollah, then come back at Hamas

Israel has offered a comprehensive cease fire to Hamas in the Gaza Strip, involving trading large numbers of prisoners  and removing IDF troops for a two month cease fire.  Trouble is, it's a ruse.

Israel wants to go after Hezbollah in Lebanon and doesn't want two fronts of hostility; one in the south, in Gaza, and another in the north, Lebanon.  So they're offering Hamas a "cease fire" for two months, which will allow Israel to go smash Hezbollah in northern Israel/Lebanon, just so they can turn around two months later and come back to Gaza to finish the Genocide they started there.

To even the most casual observer, the Israeli intent seems clear.

UPDATE 11:02 AM EST --

Hamas has rejected an Israeli proposal for a cease-fire.

Hamas rejected an Israeli proposal for a cease-fire in Gaza for two months in exchange for the release of all the abductees. "No more abductees will be released until Israel ends the war and leaves Gaza."
