EGYPT PREPARES
Egypt is preparing an area at border with Gaza that can accommodate about 100,000 Palestinians if an Israeli offensive into Rafah prompts an exodus across the frontier.
As shown in the video below, heavy and urgent construction is presently underway to build a walled-off area south of Gaza, in Egypt's Sinai Desert.
Large numbers of tents have been delivered to that area, as bulldozers level the ground and excavators dig trenches for pre-fab cement walls.
UPDATE 9:50 AM EST --
Nasrallah: "The enemy’s goal in killing civilians is to pressure the resistance to stop, because all pressure since October 7 was aimed at stopping the southern front.
The answer to the massacre must be to continue and escalate the work on the front.
Targeting the Kiryat Shmona settlement with dozens of Katyusha rockets and a number of “Al-Falaq” missiles is an initial response.
To our women and children in Nabatieh, Al-Sowanah and others, the enemy will pay the price for shedding their blood, in blood.
The price of civilian blood will be blood, not sites.
The resistance in Lebanon possesses enormous and accurate missile capabilities that extend from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat."
