Yoav Gallant, the Defense Minister of Israel said just moments ago "There is no possibility of reaching an agreement with Hezbollah."
He also informed Amos Hochstein in a meeting before this evenings Security Cabinet meeting:”The only remaining way to return the evacuated residents of northern Israel safely is through military action”
Israel's Security Cabinet was __supposed_ to meet earlier, The Security Cabinet meeting was postponed --again -- with the official reason being that there are ongoing security assessment meetings on different levels including the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister regarding the situation with Hezbollah and Lebanon.
The Security Cabinet is now scheduled to meet at 21:00 Israeli time, which converts to about 2:00 PM eastern U.S. time.
