At 7:16 AM eastern US time today, an earthquake of Magnitude 4.8 struck Iran about 5 KM away from the Iran Nuclear Development Site at Isfahan. The quake took place at a depth of 10KM.
Given the geopolitics taking place these days, the depth, and the location, many people are wondering if this was a test-detonation of a nuclear bomb? The depth seems to be too deep.
Moreover, the earthquake wave pattern is NOT one that lends itself to being described as an "explosion."
