Magnitude 6.4 Earthquake Slams Mexico-Guatemala Border

A magnitude 6.4 earthquake has struck southern Mexico near the border of Guatemala.  The quake took place at a depth of about 75km.  No Tsunami is expected.

One of the effects of a large scale geo-magnetic storm, as earth has been experiencing since about 1:00 PM Friday afternoon, is earthquakes.  Since that storm is the strongest in almost 20 years, large scale earthquakes are predicted - and apparently are now beginning.
