According to a Senior U.S. Defense Official, several F/A-18 “Super Hornets” from Carrier Air Wing 3 aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) launched Airstrikes tonight in Western Yemen against 10 Launch Sites for One-Way “Suicide” Drones, that were being prepared by the Houthi Terrorist Group to be used against Commercial Shipping in the Red Sea.

Houthi Sources are claiming to have struck one of the US Navy  F/A-18 “Super Hornets” tonight while the US was conducting the Airstrikes.

Multiple sources report the US Navy plane was seen to be on Fire, heading back towards USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) in the Red Sea.
