As the Trump administration seeks to negotiate a nuclear agreement with Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been warning that he may disrupt the discussions by targeting Iran's primary nuclear enrichment sites.
The disagreement regarding the most effective way to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon has resulted in at least one strained phone conversation between President Trump and Mr. Netanyahu in recent days.
Hal Turner Analysis
I believe that Israel will attack Iran's nuclear facilities with or without support from the US.
I don't think Trump can prevent that development.
Israel says it believes it faces an existential threat. But Israel's perception is not necessarily reality.
Of course, for the Barbaric Israelis, there is only one way out: Strike Iran.
The trouble is, that if Israel commits another open act of war upon Iran, then Iran has the right to defend itself and strike all of Israel with its ballistic missiles. Israel may not be able to defend itself against that.
The trouble is, the US will somehow get involved in that conflict. We should NOT.
If Israel goes ahead and commits an act of war, then Israel should be left to endure all the consequences. Alone.
