Pete Hegseth, the new Secretary of Defense, issued a terse reminder Order to the Department of Defense today. Hand-written!!!
President Trump's Executive Order on this topic was explicitly clear: Any DEI offices were to be closed by the next day last week, "and all persons in those offices were to be placed on Leave."
The Order also made clear t=such people were not to be re-assigned and their titles were not to be changed to get-around this closure.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATF) tried to get around this by re-titling a DEI manager as "Senior Executive." They got caught.
President Trump seems to understand that this ENTIRE "DEI" system is literally a cancer upon any and every management system in which it is utilized, be it government or business. You don't get rid of that cancer by moving its cells around - you get rid of the cells.
The American people knew President Trump was campaigning against DEI and all sorts of other discrimination. The American people elected him.
Ergo, the American PEOPLE want these changes and our government public servants **must** comply, or they cannot work for us anymore.
