NOTICE: THIS WEBSITE WILL UNDERGO EXTENSIVE WORK THIS WEEK . . .

This website will undergo major work this week which __WILL__ cause it to go offline from time to time, perhaps for several hours at a time.  DON'T PANIC if the site is gone for several hours.

This work has been needed since the site was hacked last Thanksgiving and it will be very extensive work.

It took time to get the money necessary to have the work done, and that has been accomplished.

The work __WILL__ be done this week.

Just a heads-up for all of you because I have come to know that when this site goes offline even for a few minutes, people start asking other folks "what's wrong?  and "Is Hal OK?"

I'm fine.  The work is planned and will be undertaken this week.  I will let you know when it's done.
