Russia has clarified the story which initially reported they were "Halting Uranium exports to the United States." Russia now says it will honor all its contracts but cannot ship from St. Petersburg because no Insurance is available for ships. It will find another way to meet its contract obligations.
The original story about Russia halting exports developed after the Telegram Channel of Strana Rosatom published an item saying Russia had halted Uranium shipments to the US, but Strana Rosatom is not an official publication of Rosatom corporation.
Uranium shipments from Russia to the US will continue.
