In a very surprising move, Russia has replaced General Surovikin, Commander over Ukrainian operations, with the Chief of the General Staff, General Gerasimov. This is quite a shock.
Surovikin was widely viewed as "General Armageddon" and the fact that he is now replaced is a sign that Russia is not happy with how Ukraine is proceeding.
Whatever the reason for Surovikin being replaced, Russian naval forces from the Russian port city of Novorossiysk, made a mass exodus from port late today. ALL the warships and ALL the submarines, put to the Black Sea.
