Storm Knocks - Out WBCQ

Storm Knocks - Out WBCQ

Regular readers of this website and listeners to my radio show know that I am carried on three shortwave stations using five separate transmitters to carry my show to almost 100 countries around the world every night.  WBCQ is one of those stations.

Last night and into today, a very strong storm system hit the US eastern seaboard and Maine, where WBCQ is located, was no exception.  Electric power has been knocked out at the station, taking down all transmitters, including 7490 and 6160 which carry my show.

There __may__ be a temporary power fix, or there __may__ be another possibility, but for right now, WBCQ is OFF THE AIR and it may be for a week or more.

Shortwave listeners can still hear my nightly show as follows:

WRMI - Radio Miami International - on Freq. 5950 and Freq. 7730

WWCR - Worldwide Christian Radio- on Frequency 7520
