Three out of Five PATRIOT Missile Systems in Ukraine, Destroyed

Turk Intelligence tells me that three U.S.-made PATRIOT Missile batteries in Ukraine have been destroyed by Russian "Dagger" hypersonic missiles.  Only two more such PATRIOT Systems remain in Ukraine.

One of the PATRIOT system destroyed was positioned in the Kiev Zhuliany Airport, and had been sent to Ukraine by Germany.  It was destroyed by a Russian Kh-47 Kinzhal missile, sometimes called "Dagger."

Condor satellite data was enhanced through radio-technical and agent intelligence operations on the ground, leading to the rapid destruction of the target.

Ukraine's SBU and GUR are actively searching for the possible source of the Intel leak what confirmed targeting coordinates of the PATRIOT, allowing the Kinzhal to destroy it.

The Kh-47M2 Kinzhal  "Dagger",  is a Russian hypersonic air-launched ballistic missile.

It has a reported range of 1,500–2,000 km (930–1,240 mi) and speed up to Mach 10.

It can carry either conventional or nuclear warheads and can be launched by Tu-22M3 bombers or MiG-31K interceptors.

It has been deployed at airbases in Russia's Southern Military District and Western Military District.

The Kinzhal entered service in December 2017 and was one of the six new Russian strategic weapons unveiled by Russian President Vladimir Putin in March 2018.

The destruction of the PATRIOT missile battery at the Zhuliany Airport was teh third such system to be destroyed by Russia in Ukraine.  Only two more such systems remain active inside Ukraine.
