Several (3) U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress long-range strategic bombers are actively operating over the southern Caribbean Sea, approximately 300-500 km north of Venezuela's coast.
These aircraft, originating from Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, were initially tracked flying eastward over the region before shifting southward toward Venezuelan airspace.
This is being interpreted by many in the Intelligence community as a final warning to Nicholas Maduro in Venezuela that his time is up.
UPDATE 12:38 PM EDT --
Venezuelan F-16s have been scrambled due to US air force presence to the North. The fighter jets reportedly airborne from El Libertador Air Base in Aragua.
