President Donald Trump has arrived for the NATO Summit. As he got out of his Limousine, he had the SAME LOOK on his face that he had the day Volodymyr Zelensky came to the White house and got thrown out. A look that says "I've got to do this lousy thing right now . . . ."
On the day Zelensky arrived at the White House, Trump was outside the Portico waiting to greet him and he had this look on his face that something serious was going to have to be done. Ultimately, we all saw what that was, when an argument erupted in the Oval Office, in front of the assembled media, and Zelensky got told to leave.
Today, as trump arrived for the NATO summit - he had that same look on his face as he got out of his car.
I have a feeling (I could b wrong) that NATO is about to get the worst news of its existence. I think Trump is going to tell them that the United States is pulling OUT of NATO.
Of course Congress, anticipating something like this during Trump's first term, passed a law saying he needed Congressional approval to do so. But as Commander-in-Chief, it is Trump, not congress, who decides what US "support" will be.
He can choose to send one, US Army Private and tell NATO "Here. This is the aid the US is providing." Congress can't do anything at all!
I think there will be big news before the end of this NATO summit.
