UPDATE 11:10 AM EDT --
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced during a special session of the Turkish Grand National Assembly that Turkey is completely severing all economic and trade relations with Israel.
This includes halting all imports and exports, banning Turkish ships from entering Israeli ports, and closing Turkish airspace to Israeli aircraft.
Fidan emphasized that these measures are a direct response to Israel's ongoing military operations in Gaza, which he described as "genocide" and the use of hunger as a "weapon," disregarding fundamental human values.
It should not be ruled out that Turkey and Israel will sooner or later end up in an armed conflict against each other.
