U.S. "Nuke Sniffer" Airborne over the Mediterranean Sea

U.S. "Nuke Sniffer" Airborne over the Mediterranean Sea

The United States has deployed a "Constant Phoenix" aircraft over the Mediterranean Sea.  This aircraft has ONE job: Sniff for radiation from either a nuclear weapon or a leaking reactor.

The Flight Radar pattern shows where the plane is looking:

Why look there?  Unless, of course, maybe they picked up something being carried by prevailing winds and are tracing it back to origin?

If it’s up here, either someone’s playing with matches they shouldn’t have, or Washington thinks they might.
