The United States is deploying additional B-52 strategic bombers to Europe.
The Air Force says this is for a "bomber rotation" meaning these go over to replace others that will come home. (If they come home.)
The deployment is separate from the six B-52s that deployed to the Middle East this weekend to deter Iran and its proxies.
Knowledgeable sources say this stinks of preparing for conflict with Russia over Ukraine and perhaps over Iran, given the pending activities in the Middle East.
