Ukrainian intelligence today revealed chilling images from the scene of the assassination of Ilya Kyva, a 'traitor' and former Kyiv MP who left to Russia.
Kyva, 46, was gunned down last week as he went for a walk in a supposedly safe location at a country club near Moscow - the latest of several people to have been assassinated in recent months.
Images from the scene show his body lying in the snow - and the weapons supposedly used to 'liquidate' him were discovered hanging on a tree nearby. Video was also released apparently showing the assassin lying in wait in the snow and watching passers-by.
The SBU secret service made clear the images and footage were deliberately released as a warning to other Ukrainians.
'This is a signal to all traitors and war criminals who have gone over to the enemy's side,' a Ukrainian source told media.
'Remember, Russia will not protect you... Death is the only prospect that awaits the enemies of Ukraine.'
Kyva wasn't the only defector slain last week.
Oleg Popov, branded a war criminal by Kyiv, was killed in a car bombing in Luhansk.
Footage showed Popov's burning car after an explosion near the city stadium. The 51-year-old had been appointed 'Deputy of the People's Council of the Luhansk People's Republic' by Russian occupying forces.
The Kyiv Post reported that the 'special operation' was organized by the Security Service of Ukraine, later confirmed by a secret service source speaking to Pravda.

This was ADMITTED, state-sponsored, premeditated, murder. Perpetrated by Ukraine, in the jurisdiction of OTHER countries.
These murders are being done with the explicit, stated, intent of changing political views of Ukrainians and others around the world who "go to the other side."
THAT small detail, done as a "signal" to others, makes what's going on, the book definition of: Terrorism.
Ergo, Ukraine is now, by its own admission, a state-sponsor of Terrorism.
Members of the United States Congress, Senate, and the Administration, who continue to provide "aid" to Ukraine, are, in my view, "giving material support" to terrorism -- which is a federal crime here in the United States.
How about using that fact as the basis for political commercials in the upcoming elections? Perhaps the wording below could be used as a political commercial?

This is (Insert official title and name here) and THESE are the men he helped murder: Pictures of dead Ukrainians.
These men were murdered by the Ukraine Intelligence Directorate, and they got the money to carry out these murders from (Congressman / Senator so-and-so)
Ukraine admitted killing these men to send a message to others. "Death awaits enemies of Ukraine." They admitted it . . . publicly!
Murdering people to change political views is the book definition of TERRORISM.
Congressman / Senator (So-and-So) voted to give millions in Aid to Ukraine - and Ukraine used that money to carry out murders. Terrorism.
Therefore (Insert Title and name here) provided Material Support for Terrorism.
We don't need a Terrorism-supporting member of the (Congress/Senate)
(Insert Incumbent Name HERE) is a facilitator of terrorism and state-sponsored murder. Vote him out."
