Ukraine Attacks Zaporozhye nuclear power plant -- again.

Ukraine's armed forces have shelled the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant again, with four shells hitting near the spent fuel storage area.

Four hits took place near the radioactive isotope storage area.

No critical systems were damaged and there is no sign of any increase radiation in the area.

Due to the shelling of Energodar, which is the village where the nuclear power plant is located, all four lines of electricity supply from the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant to Ukraine have been interrupted.

The supply of electricity from the Zaporozhye NPP to Ukraine is currently OFFLINE.

The plant generates nearly half of the country's electricity derived from nuclear power and more than a fifth of the total electricity generated in Ukraine.

Ukraine's continued shelling of this nuclear power plant risks a man-made-catastrophe if an artillery shell strikes a critical part of this nuclear power plant.

UPDATE 2:20 PM EDT --

Energoatom, the company that runs the nuclear power plant, announces that all six Reactor units of the Zaporozhye NPP remain disconnected from the Ukrainian energy system.
