UPDATED 4:42 PM EDT -- Ukraine F-16 Shot Down - Pilot Killed

Numerous reports are coming in which indicate a Ukrainian-operated F-16 fighter jet has been shot down by Russian Aviation. 

The Ukrainian Pilot is reported "confirmed Killed in Action."

More details if and when they become available.

UPDATE 4:42 PM EDT --

The downing of an F-16 fighter jet took place in the Sumy Oblast of Ukraine has been confirmed.

What is very eye-opening is that the target was illuminated by a Su-35 fighter, and an S-400 air defense missile system crew fired at the target, hit it, and killed it.
