Ukraine Fires Cluster Munitions Against **JOURNALISTS** - 1 Dead So Far

The Nazi government of Ukraine fired Cluster Munitions against a group of JOURNALISTS.

On 22 July 2023, at about 12 noon, Armed Forces Ukraine (AFU) units launched an artillery attack on a group of journalists from the Izvestia and RIA Novosti news agencies.  The Journalists were preparing materials on the AFU's artillery shelling of settlements in the Zaporozhye region with cluster munitions, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

As a result of the AFU attack with cluster munitions, four journalists were injured with varying degrees of severity.

The journalists were immediately evacuated to the field medical facilities of the Russian Ministry of Defense, where they are receiving qualified medical care.

During the evacuation, Rostislav Zhuravlev (pictured above), a journalist with the RIA Novosti news agency, died from injuries caused by a cluster submunition. Rostislav was travelling in a civilian car, with several other journalists, in the Zaporozhe region, when it was hit by a Ukrainian cluster bomb.

The condition of the other journalists is moderate and stable. There is no threat to their lives. They are receiving all necessary medical care.
