If the existence of Ukraine statehood is at stake, " *** ALL *** men in the country with be mobilized to war" says Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee for National Security, Defense and Intelligence Yegor Chernev, in an interview with Novini Live.
The Member of Parliament (MP) said that if Ukraine is faced with a real threat of losing its statehood, then everyone will go to war, because "it is the duty of every man to defend his country."
On August 15, "President" Volodymy Zelenski signed laws on the extension of martial law and mobilization in Ukraine for 90 days, until November 15, according to another Verkhovna Rada deputy, Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
In Ukraine, general mobilization (i.e. ***ALL*** men) may be announced if the country is threatened with "loss of statehood."
