The Holy Catholic Church has a new Pope. Robert Prevost, born in the United States, has been elected Vicar of Christ, Pope of the Holy See, by the College of Cardinals, at a Conclave, at the Vatican in Rome. He will be known a "Leo the 14th (XIV)"
His first words to the assembled crowd:
"God loves us, God loves everyone — Evil will not prevail.
Therefore, without fear, united hand in hand with God and amongst ourselves, let us go forward.
We are the disciples of Christ — Christ goes before us, humanity needs him.
Like the bridge to God and his love."
