After US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner's meeting in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Witkoff and Kushner were supposed to fly to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss the Russian reaction to the peace proposal. That meeting with Zelensky was cancelled.
It is not yet confirmed WHO canceled, but the meeting did not, and will not, happen.
Outside observers believe the reason for the cancellation is simple: There is nothing left to talk about.
Both sides laid out their requirements for peace. Those two sides are incompatible. Ergo, the war continues.
