UPDATE 12:54 AM EST -- YEMEN ATTACK

UPDATE 12:54 AM EST -- YEMEN ATTACK

5:58 PM EST -- Yemen air space has suddenly become "evacuated" and a commercial no-fly zone (NOTAM) has been issued to keep commercial flights out of Yemen air space.

Flight radar shows the air space in Yemen is empty:

Iran, Syria and pro-Iranian groups in Iraq have declared their unconditional support for Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has not yet stated its position, but has brought its armed forces into a state of combat readiness. The Houthis have stated earlier that if Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar provide their airspace for an American attack, then these countries will be considered at war with Yemen. Qatar hosts the US base.

A military source in Ansar Allah states: "If foreign forces consider attacking Yemen, our forces will open the gates of hell for Western forces in the Red Sea and the region, and neither Washington nor London will be able to extinguish it."

Iran's Behshad intelligence ship left the Red Sea and is heading to the Gulf of Aden from Bab al-Mandab to continue the mission under the protection of the Alborz warship.

Behshad is not a warship, but with its espionage equipment, it will be of great help to the Yemeni army to court the aggressors, and its departure from Hodeidah coast is to stay away from possible dangers.

******* FLASH -- ATTACK HAS COMMENCED *******

Hodeidah:  Explosions: US and UK strike Iranian-backed Houthi targets in Yemen

SANAA - THE CAPITAL CITY OF YEMEN, IS NOW SUFFERING MASSIVE EXPLOSIONS.  Four strikes allegedly carried out on Al-Dailami Airbase in Sanaa!

********** BULLETIN **********

Houthis in Yemen have commenced large scale missile launches from numerous areas at as-yet unknown targets.   This seems to be a pre-planned attack pattern to be used if the West attacked Yemen.   In the recent past, Yemen made clear it would wipe out Saudi Aramco oil processing facilities, to cripple Saudi oil supply to the world if attacked by the West.

A Pentagon official: "So far, We targeted about 10 Houthi targets in Yemen.   The targets that were struck were drone manufacturing centers and weapons stores."

Multiple explosions are being reported across social media in Yemen;  currently, Zabid, Sa’ada, and Al Hudaydah.

Air strikes reported on the Yemeni city of Tays.

FIRST VIDEOS

Below, for Subscribers only, is the very first video of actual explosions taking place in Yemen as tonight's U.S. and UK attack began.  The first video is from the city of Hodeidah, the second video is from the capital city of Sanaa.  Additional live updates will resume beneath the green shaded area below.

PREMIUM CONTENT:

This section of the article is only available for Subscribers who support this web site with $1 a week billed either Quarterly ($13) or monthly ($5).

This is necessary because this is a CLOUD-BASED web site.  The way it works is YOU READ . . . I GET BILLED for "Data Transfer."

Despite being politely asked for voluntary donations, few people ever bothered to donate. Then, despite being asked to click an ad within a story to generate ad revenue for this site, the majority of the general public couldn't be bothered with that, either. So there's no reason to give the general public free news anymore; they don't pull their own weight.

With tens-of-thousands of people reading stories here every day, the costs nearly drove the site out of business.

In order to be able to continue providing cutting-edge news, often hours or even DAYS before Drudge and most of the "mass-media" -- if they even cover it at all -- I need to be able to sustain this effort. To do that, I rely on folks like YOU contributing a pittance of about $1 a week;  which is chump-change that you won't even miss!  Yet that small amount makes all the difference in the world to the continued existence of this web site.

In the final analysis, knowledge is power.  Getting information first, or info that other sources simply don't report, is usually well worth a few bucks in the long run.

***** BULLETIN *****

A second wave of U.S. and UK attacks against Yemen has commenced

10:08 PM EST -- Resuming live updates now that radio show is done . . .

-- Explosions at US Embassy compound in Baghdad, Iraq

-- Houthis' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs  "Our country was subjected to a massive aggressive attack by American and British ships, submarines, and warplanes, and without a doubt, London and Washington will have to prepare to pay a heavy price."

-- HOUTHIS PUBLICLY ANNOUNCE THAT, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, THEY ARE DELIBERATELY TARGETTING US NAVAL SHIPS AND BRITISH NAVAL SHIPS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO NOW THAT THE US AND UK HAVE ATTACKED YEMEN.

INTERESTING REMARK FROM A NON-GOVERNMENT OBSERVER: "Now's the perfect time for a false flag where we sink one of our own ships so we can start World War 3 or escalate the existing World War. Following in the footsteps of Pearl Harbor, 9/11, we can go ahead and destroy our own men and women and equipment so we have a way to get everyone all fired up and ready to kill Persians."

-- CLAIM: (UNVERIFIED) Sources claim a long-range missile attack was just launched at Israel by militias inside  -- specific target unclear.

10:25 PM EST -- US defense official tells me no US F-22s have been shot down tonight, no US warships have been hit, nor has the US embassy in Baghdad been hit.

UPDATE 10:48 PM EST --

STATEMENT FROM (ILLEGITIMATE) PRESIDENT BIDEN:

"Today, at my direction, U.S. military forces—together with the United Kingdom and with support from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands—successfully conducted strikes against a number of targets in Yemen used by Houthi rebels to endanger freedom of navigation in one of the world’s most vital waterways.

These strikes are in direct response to unprecedented Houthi attacks against international maritime vessels in the Red Sea—including the use of anti-ship ballistic missiles for the first time in history. These attacks have endangered U.S. personnel, civilian mariners, and our partners, jeopardized trade, and threatened freedom of navigation. More than 50 nations have been affected in 27 attacks on international commercial shipping. Crews from more than 20 countries have been threatened or taken hostage in acts of piracy. More than 2,000 ships have been forced to divert thousands of miles to avoid the Red Sea—which can cause weeks of delays in product shipping times. And on January 9, Houthis launched their largest attack to date—directly targeting American ships.

The response of the international community to these reckless attacks has been united and resolute. Last month, the United States launched Operation Prosperity Guardian—a coalition of more than 20 nations committed to defending international shipping and deterring Houthi attacks in the Red Sea. We also joined more than 40 nations in condemning Houthi threats. Last week, together with 13 allies and partners, we issued an unequivocal warning that Houthi rebels would bear the consequences if their attacks did not cease. And yesterday, the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution demanding the Houthis end attacks on merchant and commercial vessels.

Today’s defensive action follows this extensive diplomatic campaign and Houthi rebels’ escalating attacks against commercial vessels. These targeted strikes are a clear message that the United States and our partners will not tolerate attacks on our personnel or allow hostile actors to imperil freedom of navigation in one of the world’s most critical commercial routes. I will not hesitate to direct further measures to protect our people and the free flow of international commerce as necessary."

HT REMARK:  This would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic, especially given what JOE BIDEN HIMSELF posted to social media in January of 2020 about President Trump:

-- More explosions at Hodeidah airport, which is under the control of the Houthis.

-- Over 15   F/A-18 Super Hornet strike fighters from the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower were launched to strike Houthi forces in Yemen tonight.  All made it back to the boat safely, a U.S. official tells me.

-- RUSSIA: We demand that an emergency session be held in the UN Security Council against the backdrop of the strikes on Yemen.

-- PENTAGON:  "Over 100 precision-guided munitions of various types were used in the strikes. These strikes were comprised of coalition air and maritime strike and support assets from across the region, including U.S. Naval Forces Central Command aircraft and Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles launched from surface and sub-surface platforms."

MORE:

-- 60 targets hit in Yemen tonight at 16 locations, including command and control nodes, munitions depots, launching systems, production facilities, and air defense radar systems used by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels. Over 100 precision-guided bombs and missiles launched.

UPDATE 12:54 AM EST --

Confirmed targets as of now:

Abas airport

Taizz airport

22nd Brigade base in Taizz

Kahlan base, east of Sa'ada

Hudaydah airport

Zbudaid area,

SPECIAL NOTE TO VISITORS:

Some of you have been coming to this web site off-and-on for years, but never Subscribed for the whopping $1 a week, and never donated.  That has now come to an end.  As of January 1, this web site puts most of its content behind a Paywall.  Only Subscribers get the news and the COVERT INTEL.

If the information here -- and the work done to get the information -- is not worth a buck a week, then there's really no sense in me accommodating the general public anymore.

I allowed this story to remain MOSTLY unlocked today because it is an issue of worldwide importance; but once again, 30,000+ people came to read . . . as long as it's free.  This runs-up my "data-transfer" charges as my servers feed the data to your web browsers.  Most of those 30,000 visitors come, take, and don't come back, leaving **me** saddled with all the web site bills.

So while I left this story open, I have closed almost all other content so the general public can no longer read most of it.   It **has** to be this way because the general public does not pull its own weight when it comes to the end-of-month donations . . . . it was a struggle to get even 200 donors despite tens of thousands of visitors.

So I urge those of you who have been coming here for years, to sign up and get your Subscription for a buck a week, billed Quarterly ($13 for 3 months) so you can still access the cutting-edge information here.

The end of the free-bees has arrived.

You don't work for free, I can't either.
