AT&T’s network went down for many of its customers across the United States Thursday morning, leaving customers unable to place calls, text or access the internet.

FROM a Listener: "Me and my wife are in the same ATT account. My phone is in SOS mode but hers is not. She has a much older phone. Maybe only newer phone models affected?"
FROM another listener:
"This isn't a one-time thing. For the last few weeks, both iPhone and Android phones are misbehaving for me and several people I know. Some examples:
- old texts appearing unread
- Calls not going through
- Calls going through to voicemail and then, even after vm message starts, the person picks up and you start talking to them
- voicemail counter showing like there is a voicemail but there isn't any
- phone turning on by itself without anyone touching it
etc.
