Creepy . . . 5 of my National Security Sources in DC - are "gone"

This is creeping-me-out:  FIVE (5) of my national security sources down in Washington DC are "gone from the office."

I tried the usual means of communication - no response.

I called each of their cellphones.  Right to voice mail.

I called each office and got a secretary. I asked each time if they were on vacation and was told "no."

I asked each time if they were sick and was told "no."

In each case, I was told along the lines of "They are not in the office.  Not sure when they will be back."

These people are all with DIFFERENT agencies. 

I don't like this.
